How do I capture a highlight clip during a recording?

The Highlights feature lets you tag key moments while recording — ScoreCam clips that segment and saves it separately from your full recording.

Step 1: Enable Highlights in Settings

  1. Go to ScoreCam Settings
  2. Find the Highlights section
  3. Set Highlights mode to Save After (clips saved when recording ends) or Save During (each clip saved immediately as you tap)

Step 2: Capture a highlight while recording

  1. Start your recording as normal
  2. When a key moment happens, tap the Highlight button (the star icon on the recording screen)
  3. A duration picker appears — choose how many seconds to capture (e.g. 10s, 15s, 20s, or “Since Pause”)
  4. ScoreCam clips that portion and saves it to your Photos library

You can tap the Highlight button as many times as you like during a single session. All clips are saved to your ScoreCam album in Photos.

Tip: Want ScoreCam to stitch all your clips into one video automatically? Enable Highlight Reel in Settings → Highlights. See also: Does ScoreCam create a Highlight Reel from my recordings?
