To record without live streaming, simply turn off the Live Streaming toggle:

Settings → toggle off “Enable Live Streaming”

When live streaming is off, the stream controls are hidden and no RTMP connection is made when you press Record. ScoreCam records to your Photos library (or external drive) as normal.

If you want to hide the on-screen scoring controls from the camera view while recording:

• Connect a Scoreboard Remote and enable Settings → Scoreboard Remote → Hide Controls When Connected. Controls disappear from the camera device once the Remote is connected.
• Use the Controls Transparency slider in Scoreboard Settings → Game Clock to make the controls semi-transparent so they draw less attention.
