ScoreCam records in standard H.264 or HEVC (H.265) format. Both are widely supported by modern video editing software, including current versions of Pinnacle Studio.

If you are seeing import or playback issues, try these steps:

1. Switch to the most compatible format — In ScoreCam: Settings → Video Camera (PRO) → Enable Custom Video Settings → Video Codec → Most Compatible (H.264). Record a short test clip and try importing it again.
2. Export from Photos first — Open the video in the iPhone Photos app, tap Share, then Save Video. This re-encodes using Apple’s standard export and can resolve compatibility issues with some editors.
3. Use HandBrake (free, handbrake.fr) to convert the video to a format your editor accepts.
4. Make sure Pinnacle Studio is up to date — older versions may not support HEVC playback.
