Fees: There is no cost to viewers watching your stream on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, or other platforms — these platforms are free to watch. Your ScoreCam subscription covers your ability to stream; viewers do not need any subscription.
Viewer count: Each platform provides its own viewer count in its dashboard or studio app while you are live. YouTube shows concurrent viewers in YouTube Studio; Twitch shows live viewer count in the Creator Dashboard.
Privacy options: Privacy settings depend on the platform:
- YouTube — Choose Public, Unlisted, or Private when setting up your YouTube API account in ScoreCam. Unlisted is recommended for team-only streams (anyone with the link can watch, but it won’t appear in search).
- Twitch — All streams are public by default. Twitch does not offer built-in unlisted/private streams.
- Other platforms — Privacy controls vary; check each platform’s documentation.
Services like Restream and Castr allow you to stream to multiple platforms simultaneously from a single ScoreCam account.
