Update both ScoreCam and Scoreboard Remote to the latest version from the App Store. This error is from an old version of the connection method that is no longer used. Current versions use Multipeer Connectivity over Bluetooth and this error should not appear after updating.

If the error still appears after updating:

• Confirm Bluetooth permission for both apps — iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth → make sure both ScoreCam and Scoreboard Remote are toggled ON.
• Restart both devices fully and try again.
• Reinstall both apps from the App Store as a last resort.
