ScoreCam connects to Scoreboard Remote over Bluetooth. No pairing code, PIN, or Wi-Fi network is required. The two apps discover each other automatically as long as Bluetooth is enabled on both devices.

If Scoreboard Remote is not finding ScoreCam, check these in order:

1. Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on both devices (iOS Settings, Bluetooth, ON).
2. Confirm Bluetooth permission for both apps (iOS Settings, tap the app name, Bluetooth, ON). This is the most common silent cause.
3. Make sure the Remote button in ScoreCam's toolbar is highlighted blue. That means ScoreCam is visible to nearby remotes. Without it, Scoreboard Remote cannot find ScoreCam.
4. Bring the devices within about 30 feet of each other. Initial discovery is more reliable at close range.
5. If either app is in the background, bring it to the foreground. iOS limits Bluetooth activity for background apps.
6. Force-quit and reopen both apps, then try again.
7. Make sure both apps are on the latest version from the App Store.
