This Bluetooth pairing error was related to an older version of ScoreCam that used Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for the remote connection.
Solution: Update both apps to the latest version. ScoreCam now uses Multipeer Connectivity for the remote connection, which eliminates this Bluetooth pairing error.
If you are still experiencing connection issues after updating:
- Remove old Bluetooth pairings that may be interfering: Settings -> Bluetooth -> tap (i) next to any unknown or unused devices -> “Forget This Device”
- Ensure Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on both devices
- Uninstall both apps, restart both devices, and reinstall
