ScoreCam’s period pad isn’t limited to numbers — you can enter any short text label, and it will be saved for reuse.

From the on-screen controls: Tap the period or quarter label at the top of the control panel to open the period pad. Type a label like OT, OT 1, OT 2, SO (shootout), or anything your sport uses, then tap the checkmark to apply it. You can also tap the built-in Half or Final presets.

From the Scoreboard Remote app: Tap the period label on the remote to open the same pad with the same options.

Any custom label you enter is added to your saved labels library, so it appears alongside Half and Final in the picker the next time you open the pad — no re-typing needed.

To go back to numeric periods, tap a digit in the pad or type the number you want.
